Sarasota Art Museum of Ringling College is a contemporary art museum known as a kunsthalle (an art museum without a permanent collection).

Sarasota Art Museum’s general admission for adults is $15.00.
Free Second Sundays at SAM are the Second Sunday of every month. Additional information is available on our Visit page.

Parking is available to the south of the Museum campus.

Food and drink are not permitted in the galleries.

Non-flash photography is encouraged, unless otherwise prohibited by the artist and their copyright. Please ask a field guide if you would like to take a photo.

Membership

Sarasota Art Museum has varying levels of membership.

When you join the Museum, your Membership is valid for a year from purchase date.

Yes, the Museum partners with Mod/Co, which encompasses 85+ museums within the US and Canada. If you are not a part of this program, this program is part of Sarasota Art Museum’s Supporter level membership and above.

Memberships are non-transferable. When you arrive at the Museum, you will need to show a valid ID and your member card for entry.

Yes, you can upgrade your membership at any point. Simply call our membership office or visit our reception desk to change your membership level.

Guest passes are allotted to Supporter Membership levels and above.

Guest passes will be mailed along with your Membership cards. They cannot be replaced if lost or stolen so keep them in a safe place.

 

Once you have exhausted your guest passes for the year, guests will be admitted at the General Admission price of $15.

Lost member cards are replaced at a cost of $5. This can be replaced at the reception desk.
