Artist Talk – Carlos Bunga

A Portuguese artist based in Barcelona, Spain, Bunga is internationally renowned for his ephemeral, site-responsive installations employing such mundane materials as cardboard, masking tape, and commercial house paint. Inspired by urban architecture and designed to be easily deconstructed, his transformative installations mirror and evoke the delicate nature of makeshift housing, urban decay and displacement.
