Join Eszter Sziksz, Ringling College of Art and Design professor of Fine Arts, Printmaking, in a discussion about the exhibition Beautiful Ideas: The Prints of Sol LeWitt.
About Eszter Sziksz
Eszter Sziksz, DLA is a Hungarian visual artist, educator, and Fulbright U.S. Scholar whose global journey has taken her across Asia and Europe. Her immersive artwork seamlessly blends traditional printmaking with video and sensory installations to explore themes of memory and change. Eszter’s work has been exhibited around the world—from Tokyo to Budapest—with features at the International Print Center New York (IPCNY), the Krakow International Print Triennial in Poland, the Santorini Art Biennial in Greece, and even a site-specific installation at the famous IceHotel in Sweden.
Currently teaching printmaking and book arts at Ringling College of Art + Design, Eszter holds an MFA from the Memphis College of Art and a Doctor of Liberal Arts (DLA) from the University of Pécs in Hungary. Her prints are held in international collections, including the Szent István Museum in Hungary and the University of North Florida. Whether working with paper or interactive media, her practice bridges cultures, making her a vibrant voice in contemporary art.

About Sarah Howard
Sarah Howard serves as Director of Graphicstudio, the leading university-based atelier at the University of South Florida’s College of Design, Art and Performance. With a career spanning more than twenty-five years, Howard has made significant contributions to the USF Contemporary Art Museum, Graphicstudio, and the Public Art Program through research, production, and presentation of projects by contemporary artists. At Graphicstudio, she has collaborated with invited national and international artists on print and sculpture editions. From 2013 to 2023, Howard held the position of Curator of Public Art and Social Practice, overseeing Florida’s Art in State Buildings Program across the three USF campuses and presenting museum exhibitions alongside public and socially engaged art initiatives. Currently, she serves on the Board of Directors of the nonprofit organization Creative Pinellas.

Join seasoned art collectors Richard and Ellen Sandor for an intimate walking tour and discussion about the exhibition Something Borrowed, Something New.
About Richard and Ellen Sandor
Richard and Ellen Sandor have been collecting photography, outsider art, sculpture, and new media for nearly 50 years, and have amassed one of the premier private art collections in America, with over 2,500 works spanning the period from the 1840s to the present. Their Sarasota residence features a glimpse of the collection. The Sandors were active collectors when photography collecting was still in its infancy. In 1988, 2001 and 2002 the Sandors were listed by the Editors of Art & Antiques as one of “America’s Top 100 Private Collectors” and have been recently interviewed in B&W, Metropolitan Home, Chicago Tribune Magazine, Crain’s Chicago Business, Chicago Gallery News, and Private Air. In 2015, they were listed by newsartnet.com as one of the “World’s 12 Most Influential Photography Collectors.” Works from their collection are featured in Self, Made at The Art Institute of Chicago through November 9, 2026, and Something Borrowed, Something New at the Sarasota Art Museum through September 27, 2026. Between them, Richard and Ellen currently serve on the boards of the Art Institute of Chicago, American Friends of the Musée d’Orsay, and Eyebeam in New York City, as well as on the boards and/or committees of Ringling Museum, Sarasota Art Museum, Asolo Repertory Theatre, Hermitage Artist Retreat, and Marie Selby Botanical Gardens.

Join Christopher Jones, Curator of Photography and Media Art at The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art, in a discussion about the exhibition Presence: The Photography Collection of Judy Glickman Lauder.
About Christopher Jones
Christopher Jones is the Stanton B. and Nancy W. Kaplan Curator of Photography and Media Arts at The Ringling Museum of Art and holds a faculty position at Florida State University. His 2022 exhibition Metadata: Rethinking Photography in the 21st Century and accompanying catalog, explored artists approaching photography as an expanded practice in our era of AI and surveillance. Other recent curatorial projects include Territories: Photography, Space, and Power (2017); Hank Willis Thomas: Branded/Unbranded (2017); Coco Fusco: Twilight (2018); Manuel Álvarez Bravo: Specters and Parables (2019); Working Conditions (2023); Jess T. Dugan: I want you to know my story (2024); and Sandy Rodriguez: Currents of Resistance (2025). His most recent publication, “Phantom Evidence: Spirit Photography from the Nineteenth Century to the Present,” appears in the 2024 exhibition catalogue Conjuring the Spirit: Art, Magic, and Mediums (Peabody Essex Museum). Prior to his role at The Ringling, Jones was Assistant Curator of Prints and Photographs at the University of New Mexico Art Museum. He holds an M.A. in Art History from the University of New Mexico and has taught widely on art history, curatorial studies, and the history of photography.
