Join Professor Anne E. Fernald for an engaging discussion of her new book “Her Own Voice: Eight Women Who Rewrote Life and Art.”.

Fernald is Professor of English and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Fordham University in New York City. A Virginia Woolf scholar, she has published on Woolf and feminist modernism and was co-editor of the academic journal Modernism/modernity from 2019 to 2023. Born and raised in Seattle Washington, she was educated at Wellesley and Yale and now lives with her family in New York. “Her Own Voice” is her first book for a general audience.
