Parents and littles (ages 3+), join Jessica DiLorenzo McHugh for an interactive reading of Shells… and What They Hide Inside, the newest book in the Shells Series from Phaidon Publishing.
In addition to interactive reading, you’ll have the opportunity to create seashell pop-up cards inspired by our latest exhibition, The Truth of the Night Sky, and the book Shells…and What They Hide Inside, just in time for Mother’s Day!
Visit The Studios at SAM between 1 pm and 3 pm for our Family ArtLab. We’ll be crafting seashell stamp art and engaging in printmaking using found shells on gold leaf sheets. Join us to decorate the front of your pop-up card and stick around to create larger prints!
