Join us for an artist talk and book signing with Windy Chien, San Francisco artist and author of “the year of knots”. Windy will demonstrate knowledge of the history and utility of various knots. Join Windy in learning two or more knot tying skills.
Windy will explain how a line’s journey creates the strength and beauty of each knot. She’ll also detail her own creative journey – starting with her yearlong project to learn a new knot each day into an overview of her current bodies of work.
